Big Red Bloody Mess

As Bloody Mary variants go, I think this one is good!


  • 4 parts tomato juice
  • 2 parts tequila
  • 1 teaspoon Gokujang (Korean chili paste)
  • 1/2 teaspoon celery salt
  • Finely minced red pepper (optional)
  • Garlic powder and ground black pepper to taste
  • Celery stalk for garnish


Mince the red pepper (optional), and put all the ingredients in a cocktail shaker (ice optional – I like mine room temperature). Pour into glasses, garnish with celery and serve.
