This one came directly from my father-in-law, who pointed me towards this easy naan pizza recipe that is so easy you can simply plop it on a covered grill.
Though the term “garbage plate’ is allegedly copyrighted by the restaurant that invented it, Nick Tahou’s in Rochester, I decided to invent the Bethlehem version of it – which we’ll call the “South Side Hangover Plate”.
A steak, egg and cheese bagel comes into play for tailgating. It’s a great choice, especially if you’ve made cheesesteaks the night before.
Every fall, my mother and father (and now, us as well) enjoy figs from several fig trees on our properties.
