The South Side Breakfast Hangover Plate

Though the term “garbage plate’ is allegedly copyrighted by the restaurant that invented it, Nick Tahou’s in Rochester, I decided to invent the Bethlehem version of it – which we’ll call the “South Side Hangover Plate”.
Ingredients
- 1 serving of home fries (paprika, russet potatoes, onions, pepper)
- 1 serving of store bought macaroni salad
- 1 serving cooked beef hot dogs
- 1 serving cheesesteak meat (White American) and fried onions
- 1/2 serving fried red peppers
- Chili
- Chopped raw onions (optional)
- Mustard
- Chipotle sauce
Assembly
- Layer the home fries on the bottom of the plate with the macaroni salad.
- On top, stack the warm cooked hot dogs, cheesesteak meat, fried peppers, and fried onions.
- On top of that, pour chili and chopped onions (optional).
- Finish with yellow mustard and Chipotle sauce.
